There are
over 1050 New Testament/Brit Hadasha commands.
Neither the continuously valid commands from the Torah or the New
Testament/Brit Hadadsha commands can be appreciated for merit or as if we seek
to fulfill them in our own power. Only
dependence on God’s grace and atonement and resurrection power enables us to
obey from the heart. Commands deepen
our humility and sense of dependence on God’s mercy and power”

Yeshua said He
was The Way, The Truth and The Light
6 Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the
Father, but by me.John 14:6)
He is The Manifestation
of the Torah/Word
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard,
which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have
handled, of the Word of life;
1 John 1:1 (KJV),
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any
thing made that was made.
John 1:1-3 KJV)
He is the way into the Holy of Holies, He is the
final sacrifice for sin. The Tabernacle, the sacrifices and offerings were a
shadow and type of our redemption that was to come and which found it’s
fulfillment in Yeshua Ha Mashicah/ Jesus The Messiah.
Hebrews 10:1-21
10
1 For the Torah has in It a shadow of the good
things to come, but not the actual manifestation of the originals.
Therefore, it can never, by means of the same sacrifices repeated endlessly
year after year, bring to the goal those who approach the Holy Place to offer
them. 2 Otherwise, wouldn’t the offering of those sacrifices have
ceased? For if the people performing the service had been cleansed once and for
all, they would no longer have sins on their conscience. 3 No, it is
quite the contrary—in these sacrifices is a reminder of sins, year after year. 4
For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away
sins.
5 This is why, on coming into the
world, he says,
“It
has not been your will to have an animal sacrifice and a meal offering;
rather,
you have prepared for me a body.
6 No, you have not been
pleased with burnt offerings and sin offerings.
7 Then I said, ‘Look!
In the
scroll of the book it is written about me.
I have come to do your
will.’ ”
8
In saying first, “You neither willed nor were pleased
with animal sacrifices, meal offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings,”
things which are offered in accordance with the Torah; 9 and
then, “Look, I have come to do your will;” he takes away the first
system in order to set up the second. 10 lt is in connection with
this will that we have been separated for God and made holy, once and
for all, through the offering of Yeshua the Messiah’s body.
11 Now every cohen stands every
day doing his service, offering over and over the same sacrifices, which can
never take away sins. 12 But this one, after he had offered for all
time a single sacrifice for sins, sat down at the right hand of God, 13
from then on to wait until his enemies be made a
footstool for his feet. 14 For by a single offering he
has brought to the goal for all time those who are being set apart for God and
made holy.
15 And the Ruach HaKodesh
too bears witness to us; for after saying,
16 “ ‘This is the covenant which I will make
with
them after those days,’ says Adonai:
‘I
will put my Torah on their hearts,
and write it on their
minds,’ ”
17 he then adds,
“ ‘And
their sins and their wickednesses
I will remember no more.’
”
18
Now where there is forgiveness for these, an offering for sins is no
longer needed.
19
So, brothers, we have confidence to use the way into the Holiest Place
opened by the blood of Yeshua. 20 He inaugurated it for us as a
new and living way through the parokhet, by means of his flesh. 21
We also have a great cohen over God’s household. 22 Therefore,
let us approach the Holiest Place with a sincere heart, in the full assurance
that comes from trusting—with our hearts sprinkled clean from a bad
conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Here is a clear picture of what the curse of the
Law is and what Messiah redeemed us from – the perpetual shedding of blood
through the animal sacrifices for sin. Now we can Walk in The Way, fully pleasing
God because the blood of Yeshua has settled the sin issue once and for all,
which allows us to walk free of condemnation and enables us to walk in newness
of life as the righteousness of God In Messiah so we can walk in obedience to
His Torah/Word joyfully because it is written on our hearts through Yeshua the
Lamb of God who took away the sins of the World.
He said he was the Door
7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto
you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but
the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be
saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
John 10:7-9 (KJV)
In the Temple there were 3 doors that led into the
Holy of Holies, The Door of the Way, The Door of the Truth, The Door of the
Life. Yeshua said no man can enter into
the Holy of Holies unless He goes through these 3 doors. He said He is the door that the sheep must
enter in order to go into the Holy of Holies.
He said that Gods Word was Truth
17 Sanctify them through thy truth (Torah): thy word (Torah)
is truth. John 17:17 (KJV) I inserted the Word Torah, because that is what
Yeshua is speaking about
He is the Truth,
the Living Word of God, He said He was the Light that led to salvation, He said
He was our Peace, He is our righteousness, He is our Wisdom.
So to walk in
The Way, is to walk in Messiah
Yeshua. Can you see how the Torah
points to and finds its Fullness in Him, and because you are in Messiah, the
fullness of the Torah/Word is in you, and because it is in you, you are to walk
in The Way of The Torah/Word.
The Torah/Word leads us to Messiah Yeshua
Yeshua is the Way of Salvation
6 Jesus saith
unto him, I am the way,
the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John
14:6
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in
time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all
things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image
of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the
Majesty on high;
Heb 1:1-3 (KJV)
Yeshua is The Way to Holiness
8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the
holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were
offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service
perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal
ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a
greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not
of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood
he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for
us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer
sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead
works to serve the living God?
Heb 9:8-14 (KJV)
Yeshua is the Way to True Happiness –
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it
more abundantly.
John 10:10 (KJV)
The Amplified
Bible Translation
John
10:10
The
Thief comes on in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life,
and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
Yeshua said to
know Him is to know the Father, Yeshua walked among men the way the Father
would walk among men. The only way to
truly know the Father is to know Yeshua, to have an intimate personal
relationship with Him, because He is the Way to know the Father, the only way
to know Yeshua is through the Word of God
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:
and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:6-7 (KJV)

[i] The Psalmist found great value in the Torah of God. Here in Psalm 119 he breaks the Torah down into eight different categories
-Law (Torah) – Connotes the whole will of God as imparted to man for his teaching
-Testimonies (edot)- Revelation (Torah) as a witness of God and His righteousness
-Precepts (pikudim)- Particular guidelines for the Redeemed
-Way (derech) – The path of life delineated for the Redeemed in the Torah
-Commandments (mitzvot)-There is a great reward for walking in them
-Statutes (hukim)—Permanent laws regulating the life of an individual as a member of society
-Ordinances (mishpatim, beter translated “judgments”) The judicial standard for fair dealings
-Word (debar or imrah) – General term for the expressed will of God
