Meditation Verse

1 Peter 2:24 Amplified Bible

“He personally bore our sins in His (own) body on the tree (as on an alter and offered Himself on it), that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness.  By His wounds you have been healed.”

Quote Of The Day:

 F.F. Bosworth “Christ the Healer”

“ The Gospels reveal Gods will.  Christ was the expression of the Fathers will.  The healing of the sick by Jesus was done as a revelation of Gods will for man”

Deborah’s Drash Commentary:

“It is Written” Part 1

By Yeshua’s stripes I am healed

24 He himself bore our sinsin his body on the stake,so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness—by his wounds you were healed.“For you used to be like sheep gone astray, but now you have turned tothe Shepherd, who watches over you.[2]

1 Kefa 2:24

It is Yahweh’s will that I prosper and be in health, just as my soul prospers

2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

  3 John 1:2 (KJV)

Adonai is my healer

26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

  Ex 15:26 (KJV)

Yeshua came that I may enjoy life and have it overflowing in abundance

10 The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, life in its fullest measure.[3]

Yochanan/John 10:10

As I serve Adonai, sickness is taken from my midst

“You shall serve the Lord your God. He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst.

Exodus 23:24 Amplified Bible

Healing is one of Yahweh’s benefits

Who forgives (every one of ) all your iniquities.  Who heals (each one) of your diseases.

Psalm 103:3

Yeshua is the serpent on the pole lifted up in the Brit Hadasha for my

Healing and deliverance

4 Just as Moshe lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up; 15 so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life.[4]

John 3”14

4 And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.

5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

  Num 21:4-9 (KJV)

Yahweh sent His Torah/Word and healed me

He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them form the pit and destruction”

Psalm 107:20 Amplified Bible

I pay attention to Yahweh’s Torah/Word, for it is life to my body and health to my flesh

20 “My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.

21  Let them not depart from your sight and keep them in the center of your heart.

22  For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh

Proverbs 4:20-22 Amplified Bible

Yahweh gives me good and perfect gifts.  He does not have sickness or disease to give me

6 Don’t delude yourselves, my dear brothers— 17 every good act of giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father who made the heavenly lights; with him there is neither variation nor darkness caused by turning.[5]

Ya’akov/James 1:6-7

As I submit to Yahweh and resist ha saten, he must flee from me. Sickness and disease must flee from me

7 Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you.[6]

Ya’akov/James 4:7

Yeshua is able and willing to heal me

1 After Yeshua had come down from the hill, large crowds followed him. 2 Then a man afflicted with a repulsive skin disease came, kneeled down in front of him and said, “Sir, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” 3 Yeshua reached out his hand, touched him and said, “I am willing! Be cleansed!” And at once he was cleansed from his skin disease. [7]

Mattityahu/Matthew 8:1-2

Yeshua can heal me through my believing, receiving and speaking His Torah/Word or through the touch of another believer who is empowered by the Ruach Ha Kodesh

4 Later, Yeshua appeared to the Eleven as they were eating, and he reproached them for their lack of trust and their spiritual insensitivity in not having believed those who had seen him after he had risen. 15 Then he said to them, “As you go throughout the world, proclaim the Good News to all creation. 16 Whoever trusts and is immersed will be saved; whoever does not trust will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who do trust: in my name they will drive out demons, speak with new tongues, 18 not be injured if they handle snakes or drink poison, and heal the sick by laying hands on them.”[8]

Mark 16:4-18

Yeshua paid for all sin and sickness at Calvery

16 When evening came, many people held in the power of demons were brought to him. He expelled the spirits with a word and healed all who were ill. 17 This was done to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet Yeshayahu,

“He himself took our weaknesses

and bore our diseases”[9]

Mattiyahu/Matthew 8:17

Because Adonai is my refuge and habitation, no evil nor plaque shall come nigh my dwelling

1  He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty (Whose power no foe can withstand).

2  I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him (confidently) trust!

3  For (then) He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilance.

9  Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place.

10 There shall no evil befall you, nor any plaques or calamity come near your tent.

Psalm 91:1-3,9-10 Amplified Bible

Yeshua is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever

8 Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today and forever.[10]

Hebrews 13:8

I am Redeemed with the blood of Yeshua Ha Mashiach

18 You should be aware that the ransom paid to free you from the worthless way of life which your fathers passed on to you did not consist of anything perishable like silver or gold; 19 on the contrary, it was the costly bloody sacrificial death of the Messiah, as of a lamb without defect or spot.[11]

1 Kefa/Peter 1:18-19

I am justified by faith, not by the works of the law

0 For everyone who depends on legalistic observance of Torah commands lives under a curse, since it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing evervthing written in the Scroll of the Torah.” 11 Now it is evident that no one comes to be declared righteous by God through legalism, since “The person who is righteous will attain life by trusting and being faithful.” 12 Furthermore, legalism is not based on trusting and being faithful, but on a misuse of the text that says, “Anyone who does these things will attain life through them.” 13 The Messiah redeemed us from the curse pronounced in the Torah by becoming cursed on our behalf; for the Tanakh says, “Everyone who hangs from a stake comes under a curse.” 14 Yeshua the Messiah did this so that in union with him the Gentiles might receive the blessing announced to Avraham, so that through trusting and being faithful, we might receive what was promised, namely, the Spirit.[12]

Galatians 3:6-14

The Blessings of Avraham have come upon me

1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

  Gen 17:1-10 (KJV)

1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.

3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.

8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;

10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.

13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.

17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:

22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.

23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.

25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.

26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.

27 They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.

29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.

31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.

32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.

33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.

34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,

35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.

39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.

40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.

42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.

43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;

45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.

  Psalms 105:1-45 (KJV)

1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.

6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.

10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
