1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
23 May the God of shalom make you completely
holy—may your entire spirit, soul and body be kept blameless for the coming of
our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. 24 The one calling you is faithful, and
he will do it.[2]
Quote Of The Day:
Charles
Capps “God’s Creative Power For Healing”
God’s word
is perfect spiritual law. It is
supernatural medicine. It works through
the human spirit and is a spiritual cure, but like any other medicine, if must
be applied on regular basis.”
“Denying
sickness won’t make you well. But, by
mixing faith with God’s word, you are calling for the promise of God to be
manifest in your body. This will cause
you to be fully persuaded and healing is the result.”
Deborah’s Drash Commentary:
35 Facts About Sickness
and Healing[3]
Part VI
31. Healing can naturally be expected as part of the infinite care
of God over his children.
Matthew 6:10
10
May your Kingdom
come, your will be done on earth as in heaven.[4]
Yeshua
came and brought the God’s Kingdom to earth, He showed the will of the Father
in Heaven by saving, healing and delivering those who were oppressed by Ha
Satan.
Matthew 7:7-13
7 “And when you pray, don’t babble on and on like the
pagans, who think God will hear them better if they talk a lot. 8 Don’t
be like them, because your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9 You, therefore, pray like this:
‘Our Father in
heaven!
May your Name be
kept holy.
10 May your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in
heaven.
11 Give us the food we need today.
12 Forgive us what we have done wrong, as we too have forgiven
those who have wronged us.
13 And do not lead us into hard testing, but keep us safe from
the Evil One.
For kingship, power and
glory are yours forever. Amen.’[5]
Matthew
17:20
Mat 17:19 Then came the disciples
to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
Mat 17:20 And Jesus said
unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye
have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove
hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible
unto you.
Matthew
21:22
Mat 21:22 And all
things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Mark 9:23
Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto
him, If thou canst believe, all things are

Mark
11:23-24
Mar 11:23 For verily I say
unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed,
and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall
believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have
whatsoever he saith.
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say
unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye
receive them, and ye shall have them.
Luke
11:9-3
Luk 11:9 And I say unto
you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you.
Luk 11:10 For every one
that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him
that knocketh it shall be opened.
Luk 11:11 If a son shall ask
bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a
serpent?
Luk 11:12 Or if he shall
ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
Luk 11:13 If ye then,
being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall
your heavenly Father give the Holy
Spirit to them that ask him?
Luke 18:1-8
Luk 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray,
and not to faint; (1573 – Greek 573 ekkakeo ek-kak-eh'-o rom 1537 and 2556; to be (bad
or) weak, i.e. (by implication) to fail (in heart):--faint, be weary)
Luk 18:2 Saying, There was
in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
Luk 18:3 And there was a
widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
Luk 18:4 And he would not
for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor
regard man;
Luk 18:5 Yet because this
widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary
me.
Luk 18:6 And the Lord
said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
Luk 18:7 And shall not
God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long
with them?
Luk 18:8 I tell you that
he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall
he find faith on the earth?
John 14:12-15
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I
say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he
do; because I go unto my Father.
Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye
shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the
Son.
Joh 14:14 If ye shall
ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
John 15:7,16
Joh 15:7 If ye abide in
me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be
done unto you.
Joh 15:16 Ye have not
chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring
forth fruit, and that your fruit should
remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give
it you.
John
16:23-26
Joh 16:23 And in that day
ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall
ask the Father in my name, he will give it
you.
Joh 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked
nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Joh 16:25 These things have
I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak
unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
Joh 16:26 At that day ye
shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for
you:
Hebrews 11:6
Heb 11:6 But without
faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe
that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek him.
James 1:4-8
Jam 1:4 But let patience
have her perfect work, that ye may be
perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Jam 1:5 If any of you
lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men
liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Jam 1:6 But let him
ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the
sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jam 1:7 For let not that
man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Jam 1:8 A double minded
man is unstable in all his ways.
James
5:14-16
Jam 5:14 Is any sick among
you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jam 5:15 And the prayer
of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he
have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Jam 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for
another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
availeth much.
32. Healing is on the same basis as forgivness of sins – prayer and
faith
Matthew
9:1-7
1 So
he stepped into a boat, crossed the lake again and came to his own town. 2
Some people brought him a paralyzed man lying on a mattress. When Yeshua
saw their trust, he said to the paralyzed man, “Courage, son! Your sins are
forgiven.” 3 On seeing this, some of the Torah-teachers said
among themselves, “This man is blaspheming!” 4 Yeshua, knowing what
they were thinking, said, “Why are you entertaining evil thoughts in your
hearts? 5 Tell me, which is easier to say—‘Your sins are
forgiven’ or ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But look! I will prove to
you that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” He then said
to the paralyzed man, “Get up, pick up your mattress, and go home!”[6]
Sickness is a result of sin coming into the earth, Yeshua proves
here that when sins are forgiven, healing
is included in that forgiveness of sin.
Since Yeshua redeemed us from sin, then He has redeemed us from sickness
too.
Matthew
13:14-15
14 That is, in them is fulfilled the prophecy of
Yesha‘yahu which says,
‘You will keep
on hearing but never understand,
and keep on
seeing but never perceive,
15 because the heart of this people has
become dull—
with their ears
they barely hear,
and their eyes
they have closed,
so as not to see
with their eyes,
hear with their
ears,
understand with
their heart,
and
return for me to heal them.’[7]
Matthew
21:22
Mat 21:22 And all things,
whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Acts
28:27
So they left,
disagreeing among themselves, after Sha’ul had made one final statement: “The Ruach
HaKodesh spoke well in saying to your fathers through Yesha‘yahu the
prophet,
26 ‘Go to this people and say,
“You will keep
on hearing but never understand,
and you will
keep on seeing but never perceive,
27 because the heart of this people has
grown thick—
with their ears
they barely hear,
and their eyes
they have closed,
for fear that
they should see with their eyes,
hear with their
ears,
understand with
their heart,
and return,
and
I would heal them.’ ”[8]
James
1:5
Jam 1:6 But let him
ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the
sea driven with the wind and tossed.
33. Healing proves the resurrection of Messiah/Christ and the
desecent of the Ruach HaKodesh/The Holy Spirit
Acts
1:4-8
4 At one of these gatherings, he instructed them not
to leave Yerushalayim but to wait for “what the Father promised, which you
heard about from me. 5 For Yochanan used to immerse people in water;
but in a few days, you will be immersed in the Ruach HaKodesh!”
6 When they were together, they
asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore self-rule to Israel?” 7
He answered, “You don’t need to know the dates or the times; the Father
has kept these under his own authority. 8 But you will receive power
when the Ruach HaKodesh comes upon you; you will be my witnesses both in
Yerushalayim and in all Y’hudah and Shomron, indeed to the ends of the earth!”[9]
Acts
2:33
33
“Moreover, he has been exalted
to the right hand of God; has received from the Father what he promised,
namely, the Ruach HaKodesh; and has poured out this gift, which you are
both seeing and hearing.[10]
Acts
3:16
16
And it is through putting trust
in his name that his name has given strength to this man whom you see and know.
Yes, it is the trust that comes through Yeshua which has given him this perfect
healing in the presence of you all.[11]
Acts
4:12
11
There is salvation in
no one else! For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by whom
we must be saved!”[12]
Saved -4982 - Greek
4982 sozo
sode'-zo
from a primary
sos (contraction for obsolete saos, "safe"); to save, i.e. deliver or
protect (literally or figuratively):--heal, preserve, save (self), do well,
be (make) whole.
Romans
8:11
11
And if the Spirit of the One who
raised Yeshua from the dead is living in you, then the One who raised the
Messiah Yeshua from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through
his Spirit living in you.[13]
34. YHWH has provided all the necessary means of healing and
complete defeat of satanic powers
2
Cor. 10:3-5
.
3 For although we do live in the world, we do not wage war in a
worldly way; 4 because the weapons we use to wage war are not
worldly. On the contrary, they have God’s power for demolishing strongholds. We
demolish arguments 5 and every arrogance that raises itself up
against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey
the Messiah.[14]
Ephesians
6:10-18
10 Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in
union with his mighty strength! 11
Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be
able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary. 12 For
we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities
and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realm. 13 So take up every piece of war equipment
God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and
when the battle is won, you will still be standing. 14 Therefore,
stand! Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist, put on
righteousness for a breastplate, 15 and wear on your feet the
readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom. 16 Always
carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the
flaming arrows of the Evil One. 17 And take the helmet of
deliverance;along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of
God; 18 as you pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers and
requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s people.
Mark
16:15-20
15 Then he said to them, “As you go throughout the
world, proclaim the Good News to all creation. 16 Whoever trusts and
is immersed will be saved; whoever does not trust will be condemned. 17 And
these signs will accompany those who do trust: in my name they will drive out
demons, speak with new tongues, 18 not be injured if they handle
snakes or drink poison, and heal the sick by laying hands on them.”
19 So then, after he had spoken to
them, the Lord Yeshua was taken up into heaven and sat at the right hand of
God. 20 And they went out and proclaimed everywhere, the Lord
working with them and confirming the message by the accompanying signs.
John
14:12-15
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I
say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he
do; because I go unto my Father.
Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye
shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the
Son.
Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask
any thing in my name, I will do it.
Joh 14:15 If ye love me,
keep my commandments.
James
4:7
7
Therefore, submit to God.
Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you[17]
1
Peter 5:6-11
6 Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand
of God, so that at the right time he may lift you up. 7 Throw all
your anxieties upon him, because he cares about you.
8 Stay sober, stay alert!
Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a roaring lion looking for someone
to devour 9 Stand against him, firm in your trust, knowing that your
brothers throughout the world are going through the same kinds of suffering. 10
You will have to suffer only a little while; after that, God, who is full
of grace, the one who called you to his eternal glory in union with the
Messiah, will himself restore, establish and strengthen you and make you firm. 11
To him be the power forever and ever. Amen.[18]
35. Healing always is the will of YHWH for His people who may
“Ask what ye will”
John
15:7
Joh 15:7 If ye abide in

Matthew
21:22

John
14:12-15
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I
say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he

Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I

Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask

Joh 15:16 Ye have not
chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring
forth fruit, and that your fruit should

the Father in my name, he may give it you.
“anything”

14:14
Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
“whatsoever things ye desire”
Mark
11:22-24
Mar 11:22 And Jesus
answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mar 11:23 For verily I say
unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou
cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that
those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he

Mar 11:24 Therefore I say
unto you, What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them.
And “Much More” than earthly parents would or could give their
children.
Matthew
7:7-11
Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall
be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8 For every one
that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it
shall be opened.
Mat 7:9 Or what man is
there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Mat 7:10 Or if he ask a
fish, will he give him a serpent?
Mat 7:11 If ye then,
being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that
ask him?
When our
children are sick, don’t we as earthly parents do everything in our power,
spend whatever money it takes, bring them to a physician, give them medicine
and spend many a sleepless night by the bedside of our children, watching and
praying over them until health is restored?
HOW MUCH MORE DOES OUR HEAVENLY FATHER CARE FOR US, HIS CHILDREN….
MUCH MORE!!
Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give
good gifts unto your children, how much more
shall your Father which is in heaven give
good things to them that ask him?
Healing and Health is a GOOD THING!
