111 John 2
2 Dear friend, I am praying that everything
prosper with you and that you be in good health, as I know you are prospering
spiritually. [2]
Quote Of The Day:
F.F. Bosworth “Christ the Healer”
“In the 25th
verse of this Psalm –the 119th- David’s prayer “Quicken Thou me
according to They Word”. Thank God, we can all pray with faith and get the
answer, every day, to this comprehensive and inspired prayer. “Quicken Thou me according to Thy Word” Notice that the quickening is, as David
said ‘ACCORDING TO THY WORD”. The Holy Spirit inspired the Word of God, and it
is His own blueprint to which He works, while carrying on His great work of
quickening. So to be quickened
“according to God’s Word” means to be full of His Life in the entire range of
our complex being, soul and spirit.”
Deborah’s Drash Commentary:
“Having Done All to Stand, Stand Firm in Torah/Truth”
The enemy has one purpose and that is to steal all that already
belongs to us in Messiah, our health, our prosperity, or families and the joy of
our salvation by speaking lies that are contrary to the Torah/Word of Yahweh.
We are in a battle daily against principalities and powers
and wicked rulers in high places in the heavenlies.
We can not sit back and relax for one minute while we are
here on the earth.
Ephesians 6:10-18 Complete
Jewish Bible
10 Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in
union with his mighty strength! 11 Use all the armor and
weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able to stand against
the deceptive tactics of the Adversary. 12 For we are not
struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic
powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the
heavenly realm. 13 So take up every piece of war equipment God
provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when
the battle is won, you will still be standing. 14
Therefore, stand! Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist, put
on righteousness for a breastplate, 15 and wear on your feet
the readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom. 16 Always
carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the
flaming arrows of the Evil One. 17 And take the helmet of
deliverance;along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word
of God; 18 as you pray at all times, with all kinds of
prayers and requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s
people.[3]
Ephesians 6:10-18 Amplified Version
10. In conclusion, be strong in the Lord (be empowered through your
union with Him); draw your strength from Him (that strength which His boundless
might provides).
11. Put on God’s whole armour (the armor of a heavy-armed soldier
which God supplies), that you might be
able successfully to stand up against
(all) the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
12. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood (contending only
with physical opponents), but against the despotisms, against the powers,
against (the master spirits who are)
the world rulers of this present darkness; against the spirit forces of
wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
13. Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to
resist and stand your ground on the evil day (of danger) and, having done all
(the crisis demands) to stand (firmly in your place).
14.Stand therefore (hold your ground) having tightened the belt of
truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of
moral rectitude and right standing with God.
15. And having shod your feet in preperation (to face the enemy
with the firm-footed stability produced by the good news) of the Gospel of
peace.
16. Lift up over all the (covering) shield of saving faith, upon which
you can quench all the flaiming missiles of the wicked one.
17. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit
wields which is the Word of God.
Complete Jewish Bible Commentary – David H. Stern
We are not struggling against human beings but against the unseen agents
(1:20–23a&N) of the Adversary, Satan (Mt 4:1&N). This is why
“the weapons we use to wage war are not worldly. On the contrary, they have
God’s power for demolishing strongholds” of demonic spirits (2C 2b–5&N).
This description of the armor and weaponry that God provides confounds
people who are used to fighting people by worldly methods and have no
sensitivity to God’s methods, which are: truth, righteousness, readiness
grounded in the Good News of shalom, trust, deliverance (or:
“salvation”), the Word of God given by the Spirit, and prayers.
Unbelievers taken aback by the apparent triumphalism of the song, “Onward,
Christian Soldiers,” should understand that the “soldiers” in this song, that
is, the believers in Yeshua, are not fighting to force non-Christians to
convert, but to overcome demonic principalities and powers by God’s
prescribed methods. [4]
The Adversary. Greek diabolos (usually
transliterated “devil”) translates Hebrew satan, “adversary, opponent, rebel.”
In Isaiah 14:11–15, between the lines of a taunt against the king of Babylon,
can be read the downfall of a creature who was once both powerful and beautiful
but who in pride rebelled against God and came to oppose him; Ezekiel 28:11–19
is similar. On the other hand, Job 1–2 is explicit in showing Satan as the
opponent of both God and man. In Genesis 3 as the serpent he tempts Adam and
Eve to disobey God; equating the Adversary with the serpent is clear from Rv
12:9, which speaks of “that ancient serpent, also known as the Devil and Satan
(the Adversary), the deceiver of the whole world.” The satan is a
created being, in no way equal to his Creator; yet he is the background source
of all sin, evil and opposition to God. The book of Job teaches that the reason
why an omnipotent and good God permits such opposition is a mystery, but that
God remains in perfect and unthreatened control. This we see most clearly in
Job 40–41, where “Behemoth” and “Leviathan” are seen to be stand-ins for the
Adversary, because when God challenges Job to deal with them he repents “in
dust and ashes” (Job 42:6). Both the Tanakh and the New Testament take
for granted the existence of a supernatural realm of good, obedient angels who
serve God and evil, rebellious ones (demons) who serve the Adversary. [5]
Gen
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil
than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said
unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the
garden?
Gen
3:2 And the woman said unto the
serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen
3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is
in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither
shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen
3:4 And the serpent said unto the
woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen
3:5 For God doth know that in the
day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.

Satan is a thief and a liar!
John 10:10 The thief cometh

The Thief (Ha Satan) comes for one purpose only – to steal, kill and
destroy
Thief -2812 - Greek
2812 kleptes klep'-tace
from 2813; a stealer
(literally or figuratively):--thief. Compare 3027.
Steal - 2813 - Greek

Kill -2380 - Greek
2380 thuo thoo'-o

fire, but genitive case); by extension to immolate (slaughter for any
purpose):--kill, (do) sacrifice, slay.

the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Complete Jewish Bible Commentary
Before Avraham came into being, I AM. This and 10:30 are Yeshua’s clearest
self-pronouncements of his divinity. On “I AM” see 4:26N. It was very
clear to the Judeans exactly what Yeshua’s claim was, because they immediately
took up stones to put him to death (v. 59) for blasphemy. Claiming to be God
and, specifically, pronouncing God’s name (as Yeshua had just done) were punishable
by death (Leviticus 24:15–16 and Mishna Sanhedrin 7:5, “The blasphemer is not
guilty until he pronounces the Name.”). [6]
I am come, that they might have life

Life – Vines Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words
Usage Number: A-1
Part of Speech: Noun
Strong's Number: 2222
Greek Word: zoe
Usage Notes: (Eng., "zoo,"
"zoology") is used in the NT "of life as a principle, life in
the absolute sense, life as God has it, that which the Father has in
Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to have in Himself, John
5:26, and which the Son manifested in the world, 1John 1:2. From this life man
has become alienated in consequence of the Fall, Eph. 4:18, and of this life
men become partakers through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, John 3:15, who
becomes its Author to all such as trust in Him, Acts 3:15, and who is therefore
said to be 'the life' of the believer, Col. 3:4, for the life that He gives He
maintains, John 6:35, 63. Eternal life is the present actual possession of the
believer because of his relationship with Christ, John 5:24; 1John 3:14, and
that it will one day extend its domain to the sphere of the body is assured by the
Resurrection of Christ, 2Cor. 5:4; 2Tim. 1:10. This life is not merely a
principle of power and mobility, however, for it has moral associations which
are inseparable from it, as of holiness and righteousness. Death and sin, life
and holiness, are frequently contrasted in the Scriptures.
John 1:1-5

2 He

3 All

4 In

1 John 1:1-4
1Jo 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we
have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and
our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
1Jo 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we
have seen it, and bear witness, and shew
unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto
us;)
1Jo 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we
unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus
Christ.
1Jo 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that
your joy may be full.
11 Timothy 1:10
2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of
our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought
life and immortality to light through the gospel:
That they might have I more abundantly
Abundantly 053 - Greek
4053 perissos per-is-sos'
from 4012 (in the sense of
beyond); superabundant (in quantity) or superior (in quality); by
implication, excessive; adverbially (with 1537) violently; neuter (as noun)
preeminence:--exceeding abundantly above, more abundantly, advantage,
exceedingly, very highly, beyond measure, more, superfluous, vehement(-ly).
Ha Satans tactics are always the
same – To contradict the Torah and have people follow his lies instead of the
Word of Yahweh. We have a choice, to
follow the lies of ha satan or to follow the Torah/Word of Yahweh. There is no in between. We have to decide who we are going to agree
with when it comes to serving Yahweh, either the Word of Truth or the Lies of
Ha Satan.
What does the word have to say
about ha satan.
Joh 8:44 Ye are of your
father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer
from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in
him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the
father of it.
Satan is a liar……
Yahweh’s Word is Truth
Tit 1:2
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised
before the world began;
Heb 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might
have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope
set before us:
2Co 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of
God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted,
after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in
whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of
promise,
2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Jam 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word
of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Psa 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
The Torah/Word of Truth says that blessings (which include
healing) belongs to Abraham’s seed! And if you belong to Yeshua then you are
Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise!
Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to
the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his
sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will
put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have
brought upon the Egyptians: for I am
the LORD that healeth thee.
Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed
were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one,
And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Gal 3:29 And if ye be
Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the
promise.
Deuteronomy 28
:1-2 Blessings, Blessings, Blessings
for those who are Messiah’s.
Deu 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt
hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee
this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the
earth:
Deu 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on
thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the
LORD thy God.
Are we going to be like Joshua and Caleb who believed the
Torah/Word of Yahweh and entered into the
Promised Land, or
our we going to be like the other 10 who believed what they saw instead of what
the
Torah/Word of Yahweh said?
Lev 20:24 But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit
their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth
with milk and honey: I am the
LORD your God, which have separated you from other
people.
Num 13:17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of
Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way
southward, and go up into the mountain:
Num 13:18 And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether
they be strong or weak, few or many;
Num 13:19 And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be
good or bad; and what cities they be
that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;
Num 13:20 And what the land is, whether it be fat
or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and
bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was
the time of the firstripe grapes.
Num 13:21 So they went up, and searched the land from
the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.
Num 13:22 And they ascended by the south, and came unto
Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before
Zoan in Egypt.)
Num 13:23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and
cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it
between two upon a staff; and they brought
of the pomegranates, and of the figs.
Num 13:24 The place was called the brook Eshcol,
because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from
thence.
Num 13:25 And they returned from searching of the land
after forty days.
Num 13:26 And they went and came to Moses, and to
Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the
wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all
the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.
Num 13:27 And they told him, and said, We came unto
the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey;
and this is the fruit of it.
Num 13:28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and
very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
Num 13:29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the
south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the
mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
Num 13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before
Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to
overcome it.
Num 13:31 But the men that went up with him said, We
be not able to go up against the people; for they are
stronger than we.
Num 13:32 And they brought up an evil report of the
land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land,
through which we have gone to search it, is
a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw
in it are men of a great stature.
Num 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of
Anak, which come of the giants: and we
were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Joshua and Caleb were ready to act on the Word of Yahweh, but the other
10 choose to believe their eyes instead of the Torah/Word of Yahweh and never
received the promise because of unbelief.
Num 14:6 And Joshua the son
of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched
the land, rent their clothes:
Num 14:7 And they spake
unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we
passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
Num 14:8 If the LORD
delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land
which floweth with milk and honey.
Num 14:9 Only rebel not
ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are
bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is
with us: fear them not.
Num 14:10 But all the congregation bade stone them
with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the
congregation before all the children of Israel.
Num 14:11 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be
ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?
Num 14:12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and
disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.
Num 14:13 And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the
Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou
broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)
Num 14:14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen
face to face, and that thy cloud
standeth over them, and that thou goest
before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by
night.
Num 14:15 Now if
thou shalt kill all this people as one
man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,
Num 14:16 Because the LORD was not able to bring this
people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in
the wilderness.
Num 14:17 And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my
Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,
Num 14:18 The LORD is
longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by
no means clearing the guilty, visiting
the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
Num 14:19 Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this
people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven
this people, from Egypt even until now.
Num 14:20 And the LORD said, I have
pardoned according to thy word:
Num 14:21 But as truly as
I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.
Num 14:22 Because all those men which
have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the
wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to
my voice;
Num 14:23 Surely they shall not see the
land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked
me see it:
Num 14:24 But my servant
Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him
will I bring into the land where into he went; and his seed shall possess it.
We have the same spirit of faith within us.
2Co 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is
written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and
therefore speak;
