Quote Of The Day:

S.I.McMillen M.D. “None of these Diseases”[2]

“An astounding number of carnal attitudes and emotions can lead to psychosomatic illnesses.  These feelings are not new to our generation.  In fact, they were carefully catalogued by the Apostle Paul almost two thousand years ago. In 1 Corinthians 13.  Paul listed these attitudes and prescribed their antitote – love.

The devil, as a snake, has injected every man with his venom; and love is the only antidote that can save us from those poisonous attitudes.  Psychiatrist Smiley Blanton emphasized this fact in the title of one of his books, Love or Perish.  Without love-that thoughtfulness and keen consideration of others-we become much more likely to perish from a variety of diseases of mind and body.”

Deborah’s Drash Commentary:

Yahweh’s Prescription for Physical and Emotional Health

Part II

Yahweh has promised us health and peace in His Torah/Word, however we have a responsibility also to obey His word in order to see these promises manifest themselves in our lives.

Wrong attitudes produce sickness and disease, but Love covers a multitude of sin. We only  hurt ourselves when we allow wrong attitudes to fester in our hearts and minds.  We need to let the Word of Yahweh prevail in every area of our life, our minds, our wills and our emotions, The whole man, spirit, soul and body needs to submit to the Holy Torah/Word of Yahweh.

Pro 4:20  My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Pro 4:21  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

Pro 4:22  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Pro 4:23  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Pro 4:24  Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

Pro 4:25  Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

Pro 4:26  Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Pro 4:27  Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

We need to clean our house, both in the spiritual and in the natural to close the door to the enemy being able to attack us.  We are to walk in the light of Gods Torah/Word, and walk in the Ruach/Spirit, when we do this the wicked one can not prevail against us.

Mat 6:23  But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Luk 11:34  The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

Luk 11:35  Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness

Rom 13:12  The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

2Co 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Eph 5:8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light

Eph 5:11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Jo 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1Jo 2:9  He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

1Jo 2:11  But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Rom 13:13  Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

1Co 3:3  For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

2Co 6:16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Gal 5:16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Gal 5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Eph 5:2  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Eph 5:15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

1Th 4:12  That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

2Pe 2:10  But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

2Th 3:11  For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

2Jo 1:6  And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Rev 16:15  Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

We need to be careful what our eyes look upon, where are feet take us and what our mouth speaks.

Guard your Heart

Mat 5:8  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Mat 5:28  But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Mat 6:21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Mat 12:35  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Mat 13:15  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Mat 15:8  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mat 15:18  But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Mat 15:19  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Mat 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Rom 10:8  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach

Rom 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Psa 112:7  He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Psa 112:8  His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

Psa 119:2  Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Psa 119:11  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psa 139:23  Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

Psa 141:4  Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

Pro 2:10  When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

Pro 3:1  My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Pro 3:3  Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Pro 4:23  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Watch your words, Are you speaking the Word concerning your healing or are you speaking an evil report?

Job 6:24  Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred.

Psa 15:1  A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

Psa 15:2  He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

Psa 15:3  He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

Psa 34:13  Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Psa 35:28  And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

Psa 71:24  My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

Psa 119:172  My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

Pro 12:18  There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

Pro 15:4  A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

Pro 18:21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Pro 21:23  Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

Mat 12:34  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Rom 10:8  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Rom 10:11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Eph 4:29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Col 3:8  But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Mar 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mar 11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mar 11:25  And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Mar 11:26  But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Mark 11:23-24 Amplified Bible

23  Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.

24  For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].

Exodus 15:26 NASB

And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.”[4]
