Quote Of The Day:

 Charles Haddon  Spurgeon

“G-d delights in impossibilities. One man says “I will do as much as I can , He says “Any fool can do that”.  He

that believes in Christ Jesus/Messiah Yeshua does what he cannot do, attempts the impossible and performs it.

For Jesus/Yeshua said “If you have faith/Emunah, as a grain of a mustard seed nothing shall be impossible to you.”

Websters Dictionary:

Faith is the Substance…

Definition – Substance – 1. The real o ressential part or element of anything; essence, reality or basic matter.  The Material by which anything is made.

Faith/Emunah is always now.  Faith says I have it before I see it.  Faith is the substance, the material by which anything is made.  Faith brings what we are hoping for into reality.

G-d created us to operate in the realm of faith.  Without faith it is impossible to please Yahweh.  He has called us to walk/Halakah by Faith/Emunah.  When we do this we will see the provision of G-d in our Life, we will experience miracles, healing and deliverance, we will see our needs met according to His riches in glory by Messiah Yeshua.

Faith sees it before it manifests itself in the natural. In the next month we are going to study Hebrews 11 and the great men and woman of the Tenachk who are mentioned here and who were given as our example of how to walk before G-d in a way that pleases Him.

Faith/Emunah is child like trust in a loving heavenly Father to meet our every need.  As we study these men and woman of faith in the Tenachk we will learn from their example.

Faith simply stated is trust – The same trust a newborn baby has as he/she is held in their mothers arms, or when a father throws them in the air and catches them as they come down laughing . It is pure innocent trust, not thinking for a moment that their mother or father would do anything but love them and take care of them.   How much more does our Heavenly Father Love us, and how much more can we trust Him to meet our needs, heal our bodies, and bring us to complete salvation through Messiah Yeshua.

Luk 11:9  And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Luk 11:10  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Luk 11:11  If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Luk 11:12  Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

Luk 11:13  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Mat 6:25  Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Mat 6:26  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Mat 6:27  Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

Mat 6:28  And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

Mat 6:29  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Mat 6:30  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Faith Speaks the answer…..The Torah/Word of G-d is the answer to our every need.

I.                  The Gospel is the Power of G-d

                        Romans 1:16 Amplified Bible

16    For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Gree[5]

                        Proverbs 16:21

21  The wise in heart will be called understanding,

And sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness.[6]

II.              Rightly Divide the Word

                        11 Cor. 12:7-10 Amplified Bible

7  And to keep me from being puffed up and too much elated by the exceeding greatness (preeminence) of these revelations, there was given me a thorn (a splinter) in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to rack and buffet and harass me, to keep me from being excessively exalted. [Job. 2:6].

8  Three times I called upon the Lord and besought [Him] about this and begged that it might depart from me;

9  But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

10  So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength)[7]

Sha’ul/Paul had to draw on G-d’s grace and provision throughout his entire ministry

                        Acts 28:30-31

30  After this Paul lived there for two entire years [at his own expense] in his own rented lodging, and he welcomed all who came to him,

31  Preaching to them the kingdom of God and teaching them about the Lord Jesus Christ with boldness and quite openly, and without being molested or hindered.[8]

III.     Faith is the Substance - Hope is the goalsetter

                        Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is - Faith that is the substance of things hoped for is always now faith.

The substance (Websters def. the material by which anything is made) of things

hoped for is always now.   Hope is always out there in the future.

G-ds will is His Torah/Word.  His Torah/Word is His Will.   The Brit HaDasha/New Testament is Yeshua’s instructions to us on how to live out the Torah out as New Creations in Messiah.  In a world full of darkness He gave us the Light of His Torah/Word to guide us and His Ruach Ha Kodesh to lead us.

III.          The Torah/Law, Faith and The Spirit

            Romans 3:31

31    Do we then by [this] faith make the Law of no effect, overthrow it or make it a dead letter? Certainly not! On the contrary, we confirm and establish and uphold the Law.[9]

            Romans 8:6-7

6  Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

7        [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.[10]

8  So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him.

9  But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God]. [Rom. 8:14].[11]

V.        Faith Cometh by Hearing the Torah/Word of G-d

            Romans 10:17 Amplified Translation

17    So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).[12]

Faith sees through the storm.  Faith will always talk the end results, instead of

what exists at present.  Don’t ever base your faith on what someone else did.

Don’t base what you are doing on someone else’s faith, base your faith on His Holy Torah/Word

VI.            Act on G-ds  Torah/Word not others actions

11 Peter 1:3 Amplified Translation

For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).[13]

You use faith on things you can’t see, things which are not manifest.  Faith is

seeing in the spirit what the Torah/Word promised, when it is not yet manifest in

            the natural.

            Mark 11:23-24 Amplified Translation

22  And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly].

23  Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not    doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.

24   For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].[14]

If you pray the Torah/Word of G-d, that will increase your faith.

The best way to get the image in you of the thing hoped for, is with your own

words.  You must speak words of faith.  You must speak the word of promise

G-d gave us that faith - power & creative ability in His Word.  His word is filled

            with faith.

There is enough faith in every promise of G-d to cause it to to become true

in your life and in the life of every person on the face of the earth.  Faith

stands in the place of the things promised until it appears.

VII.        Faith & the Promise

            Eph. 2:8-9 Amplified Translation

8  For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

9  Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.][15]

VIII.  Faith is the substance of them....

            Hebrews 11:3 Amplified Translation

3        By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.[16]

            John 1:1-3 Amplified Translation

IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6].

2  He was present originally with God.

3All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.[17]

If the Torah/Word was with G-d, the Torah/Word was G-d. The Torah/Word is  still G-d over

            every situation.

VIII.    Gods word transports faith

            Genesis 1

1     In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.

3                    Then God said…..

God never does anything without saying it first!

Faith is the ability to conceive G-ds words in our heart.  The Torah/Word brings faith

into our spirit being, into our heart a spiritual force greater then our circumstance.

The  Torah/Word is G-d over every circumstance that we can come up against in our life!
