Mattityahu 7:7-11

7 “Keep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and you will find; keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who keeps asking receives; he who keeps seeking finds; and to him who keeps knocking, the door will be opened. 9 Is there anyone here who, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will give him a stone? 10 or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 So if you, even though you are bad, know how to give your children gifts that are good, how much more will your Father in heaven keep giving good things to those who keep asking him![2]

Deborah’s Drash for Today:

Keep asking…..Indicates want, we need to look to our Father for the lack we have in every area of our lives, spiritually, physically, emotionally.  If we have lack in our lives, then we need to look to our Father because the Word says, He will meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Messiah Yeshua.

Keep seeking…..indicated loss, we must acknowledge that without Yeshua we are lost.  That the Torah/Word is our guide to lead us into the Fathers perfect will for our lives.  We are to seek Yahweh will all of our heart on a daily basis.

Keep knocking….Indicates our need. We need Yahweh everyday.  We need to sit at the feet of Yeshua everyday. We need to study His holy Torah/Word, everyday.  We need to pray everyday. We need to be in His presence everyday.  We need HIM everyday.

My husband and I are good parents, we love our son, correct him according to the Word when He needs correction, supply his needs, and wants (not everything he wants, but somethings).  When he is sick we doing everything in our means to bring him back to health by prayer, taking him to the doctor, giving him medicine.  We tell him everyday that we love him and what a good son he is and hug him.  We would lay down our lives for our son.  Yet compared to the Fathers love for us this is nothing compared to how much He wants to take care of us, meet our needs, heal our bodies, restore our souls, heal and mend all of our wounds and hurts.  His love is perfect.  As much as we love our son, it is noting compared to God’s love for us.

Quote Of The Day:

Kenneth Hagin – Classic Sermons “The Mercies of God”

If you want to know the character of God, look at Jesus.  Jesus said…he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” John 14:9.  Looking at the miracles of Jesus in the Gospels, we see over and over again how Jesus was moved with compassion toward suffering humanity. Healing, too, is  a manifestation of Gods mercy.”

Keep a Study Journal to write down what the Ruach HaKodesh Speaks to your heart as your study The Holy Scriptures. See below for a Daily Journal you can print out that goes with this Devotional to write your own thoughts and insights you receive from the Ruach HaKodesh.
