Step 1 - Enter His Courts With Praise -'Our Father Hallowed by Thy Name"

When we begin our time of prayer, we must first begin with Praise and Worship of Hashem for He is worthy to be praised.

Genesis 22:5 - Chavah - the Hebrew word for worship, means bown down or to prostrate oneself before anyone to do him honor or reverence. Also this word means to humble onself and to submit.

We are to present ourselves as a "living sacrifice" of praise to Hashem. A time of prayer should always begin with a time of praise.

We need to create an atmosphere for prayer by beggining with praise. This is a time to clear your mind of all of the clutter that tries to get your attention when you are trying to pray and focus on HaShem.

As you praise Him and Worship your creater see yourself in the very Holy of Holies - having free access because of the shed blood of Yeshua/Jesus we can freely come before His throne and humbly bow down before the Lord our Maker.

This is a time to thank Him for all He has done for you.

The word "Shachah" is used about a hundred times in the Tanack and is the only one to describe the act of worshiping Yehwah.

Praise causes the enemy to flee because HaShem inhabits the Praises of His people!

HaSatan/Saten hates praise, so if you want to get rid of him just start praising the Lord! 11 Chronicles 20
